Visit the St Barbe museum in Lymington 1st August – 12th September 2015 to see their exhibition of The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. Away from their usual home of the Bankside Gallery; this is a great opportunity to see some outstanding work by practicing printmakers, exploring printmaking processes from Linocut, Screen printing, Etching, Engraving and many more. Our stand out pieces from the exhibition were the Carborundum prints by Ursula Leach, a fantastic application of this often overlooked medium with bold and expressive use of colour.

Since it’s foundation in 1880 members of The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) are elected on merit. The result is the RE showcases the very best in contemporary printmaking. Exhibiting artists include Richard Bawden, Anne Desmet, Ursula Leach, Kate Dicker, Gail Brodholt, Karen Keogh, Brian Hanscomb, Trevor Price and John Duffin.
